Warranty Policy
Lake Antler Works LLC specializes in creating live edge antler furniture. The wood we use is real natural wood, and in no way an engineered product such as mdf or veneer or plastic. The antlers we use are real antlers as well. We use no fake or casted antlers. As the products we use are natural products, they are susceptible to natural processes.
Wood is a hydroscopic material and in a sense breaths. The humidity level of its environment will determine the moisture content equilibrium of the wood. As wood loses or gains moisture it shrinks or expands. As this happens things such as cupping and cracking can happen. Lake AntlerWorks uses kiln dried wood. The moisture the wood is dried to is 6-8%. We recommend the purchaser keeps their home at a level of 36% to 45% humidity to minimize the risk of your furniture moving. No warranty is given to pieces kept in excessively dry or humid environments.
Lake AntlerWorks offers a limited one year warranty that covers defects in manufacturing and workmanship errors. This extends only to the original purchaser. The warranty claim must be in writing and received within one year of the purchase date. Lake Antler Works will schedule to inspect the damaged piece or request pictures of the damaged piece. At our discretion, we will repair the damaged piece or replace the damaged piece. Defects do not include scuffs, stains and marks, dents, scratches, burns, pet damage, and results of everyday normal use. The use of improper cleaners is not covered by our warranty either. Use only Saicos Ecoline Wash Care for cleaning, or a microfiber rag, damp with water.
At our discretion, we will repair the damaged piece. If the repair is not successful or possible, we will then replace the piece with another of the same design concept and approximate dimensions. Each antler and each piece of wood is different and so exact replicas are impossible. Shipping expenses for warranty work are the responsibility of the customer.
We stand behind our product and are proud of the work we do. With proper care there is no reason our work will not last for generations.
